Sensory Intelligence® Consulting services, including (without limitation) our website and other interactive properties through which the services are delivered (collectively, the “Service”) are owned, operated and distributed by Sensory Intelligence® Consulting (PTY) Ltd (referred to in this Privacy Notice as “Sensory Intelligence® Consulting” or “We” and through similar words such as “Us,” “Our,” etc.). This Privacy Notice outlines the personal information that We may collect, how We use and safeguard that information, and with whom We may share it.

Collection and use of Personal Information
When providing personal information to Sensory Intelligence® Consulting as described in this Notice, that personal information is collected directly from you, and you will know the precise personal information being collected by Us. We do not collect personal information from any other sources, except where it may automatically be collected as described in the sections titled “Embedded Content” and “Cookies”, if the information in that section is considered personal information.
Subject to our Disclosure of Personal Information term set out below. We do not sell, share or trade customer’s personal information collected online with third parties. Personal information collected online will only be disclosed within our business for internal use only.
Personal Information collected
Personal information (also commonly known as personally identifiable information (PII) or personal data) is information that can be used to identify you, or any other individual to whom the information may relate.

User Generated Content
We may invite you to post content on the Service, including your comments and any other information that you would like to be available on the Service, which may become public (“User Generated Content”). If you post User Generated Content, all of the information that you post will be available to authorized personnel of Sensory Intelligence® Consulting. You expressly acknowledge and agree that We may access in real-time, record and store archives of any User Generated Content on our servers to make use of them in connection with the Service. If you submit a review, recommendation, endorsement, or other User Generated Content through the Service, or through other websites including Facebook, Instagram, Google, Twitter, and other similar channels, we may share that review, recommendation, endorsement or content publicly on the Service.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
When you use our Service, we may record unique identifiers associated with your device (such as the device ID and IP address), your activity within the Service, and your network location. Sensory Intelligence® Consulting uses aggregated information (such as anonymous user usage information, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream information, etc.) to improve the quality and design of the Service and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, and analyzing user preferences and trends. Sensory Intelligence® Consulting will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Notice. Sensory Intelligence® Consulting will also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. - Securely destroying your personal information when it’s no longer needed for our record retention purposes;
- Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for all administrative accounts on all systems.
Sensory Intelligence uses 128bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology when processing your financial details. 128-bit SSL encryption is estimated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
When you have chosen or been given a password which enables you to access certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping that password confidential. Please do not share your password with anyone.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your information and your country requires consent from a parent, We may require your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We will not share your information with any other organisations other than related companies and those third parties directly related to the delivery of the products you have purchased from our website.
In exceptional circumstances Sensory Intelligence® may be required to disclose personal information, such as when there are grounds to believe that the disclosure is necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, or for law enforcement purposes.
We are committed to complying with the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 and its principles.

International Data Transfer
If you are located outside South Africa, in particular if you are located in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or the European Economic Area (“EEA”), please note that we and our servers are located in South Africa. Any information that you provide to us may be transferred to and processed in South Africa or other countries around the world where we do business. Although this may include recipients of information located in countries where there may be a lower level of legal protection for your personal information than in your country, we will protect your information in accordance with requirements applicable to the law in your particular jurisdiction and take steps to only share with third parties that offer similar protection. The steps to verify your identity may vary based on our relationship with you, but, at a minimum, it will take the form of confirming and matching the information submitted in the request with information already held by Sensory Intelligence® Consulting and/or contacting you through previously used channels to confirm that you submitted the request (i.e. confirming identity through contact information that we have on file, and/or the contact information submitted to make the request).
Sensory Intelligence® Consulting does not knowingly collect or process the special personal information such as your religious or philosophical beliefs, race or ethnic origins, trade union memberships, political persuasion, health or sex life, or your criminal behaviour or biometric information.
