Dr. Annemarie Lombard

Dr. Annemarie Lombard is the founder and thought leader behind Sensory Intelligence®, a pioneering framework that bridges neuroscience, sensory processing, and human performance. What began as a concept in 2000 grew into a thriving global practice - established part-time in 2003 and full-time from 2005.

As a registered Occupational Therapist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, Annemarie spent 15 years working with children with neurodiversity before expanding her work into adult learning, workplace well-being, and leadership development.

She is the author of Sensory Intelligence: Why It Matters More Than IQ and EQ (Metz Press, 2007) and holds a PhD in Health Sciences (Occupational Therapy) from the University of Cape Town (2012).

Driven by a deep passion for people, Annemarie is known for her practical, no-nonsense approach to making neuroscience simple, accessible, and life-changing.
